Enter the ECOXBT waterproof speaker. It’ll take you from the pool to the lake to the beach and back again with no trouble at all. It floats speakers to the surface of the water, and just in case I wasn’t clear before, it’s entirely waterproof. The speaker has standard audio input via a 3.5mm jack, along with Bluetooth, though the company didn’t specify the range. It shouldn’t be an issue floating by a boat or a (IT news)

Many of my Kickstarter dreams have come tumbling down in disappointing or non-shipping products, which isn’t a knock against the site; that’s a risk I fully accept and take with every project. But without a doubt, the Hidden Radio Bluetooth speaker was one I was really looking forward to.

I’m in love. The Vers 1Q is a smallish, cube speaker. It costs $119 and its simplicity is the biggest draw. With a single speaker and easy connectivity, this little speaker easily fits into anyone’s life.

Samsung’s new portable Bluetooth speaker, model DA-F60, includes apt-X codec support and NFC pairing. Samsung has already made the simplicity of tapping to share, via S Beam, a big deal in their funny/naughty commercials. Now they’re using NFC to simplify Bluetooth pairing (which, if you hear my in-laws tell it, is nearly impossible).

The Jambox (or its many equivalents) is fine, but I much prefer the experience of visiting second-hand shops around the city in hopes of finding a tower speaker relic that smells musty but still has a richness of sound and vintage appeal.

I just bought a bluetooth stereo speaker and I had an idea: Is it possible to build a 4.0 audio system using my Bluetooth speakers as rear speaker and two normal cabled stereo speakers (or another pair of bluetooth speakers) as front? Which program I have to use? In general: is it possible to split a 4.0 or 5.1 signal in the single channels and send them to multiple devices? Thank you!

My ear speaker, rear speaker and whatever other speaker there might be went out on me after I had a water pipe spew on me. Would I be able to replace my speakers and have them work or might it be a communication problem between the motherboard and the speakers? Any ideas on how I could test the speakers without them being connected to my phone? Any one have experience with something like this?

S3 and Bluetooth Questions 19 weeks 3 days ago

I just bought a Bluetooth device to use with my s3 while driving. It's not working how I thought it would, so I was wondering what it should be doing and what settings can be changed.

1. I have my phone plugged into an aux port. When I get a phone call, the call audio goes through the car speakers instead of the Bluetooth speakers.

Anyone else have the JBL Power Up Speaker with wireless charging? Wireless charging works great and bluetooth works once paired.

The problem I am having is that the DNA does not respond to the NFC and automatically pair the bluetooth. When touching the DNA to the speaker the speaker recognized the DNA and starts trying to pair to the device (indicated by the blue flashing light).
