I've tried different themes in emacs (on mac with xterm set to 256) and everything works great except it's ignoring the theme's background color. Even if I add (set-background-color "red") for example to my .emacs file, it simply ignores this and uses the default terminal background of OS X.
I installed the Emacs Prelude as suggested in https://github.com/bbatsov/prelude . I find the background-color grey of the Zenburn theme to be disturbing. I wish to change the background-color to black. I tried (set-background-color "black") ,but it is not working. The background-color still remains grey. Can someone help on how to fix this ?
I have a button whose background color I changed with this: android:background="#C0C0C0" and on the emulator, the button is smaller than it was when I didn't have a background color. Is that normal? Thank you.
