Ok my first Android phone is the Motorola Triumph. If you hold it at an angle you can see the dots on the digitizer.
I recently came upon a HTC HD2 with a cracked digitizer (really bad) I noticed that the digitizer on it has way more dots on the digitizer per given space.
Recently, i dropped my note10.1 and the digitizer is cracked. :crying:
I want to replace it asap but i can't find much about digitizer for samsung galaxy note 10.1. And i heard that it'll compactable with the digitizer for galaxy tab 10.1 P7500.
So my question is" Can I replace my digitizer with that of galaxy tab 10.1?" Someone confirm me pls.;) And yea, ASAP.:p
I was surprised to see that the replacement note part is $290 just for digitizer and sometimes LCD. I could get a new phone at that cost plus a lot of these phones that I have seen around have cracked screens. How do you guys afford to replace broken screens at such costs.
I recently picked up a dinc on cl with a cracked digitizer for 10$ and it has the super amoled display. Is the LCD fuzed to the digitizer like the galaxy s phones? Or is it safe to replace?

I own a Droid 4 and recently dropped it, cracked the digitizer, and replaced it. Now my touch screen is only detecting these thin horizontal lines on the upper half of the screen. I'm wondering if it's possible that I screwed up the phone on disassembly/reassembly or if it's more likely that the new digitizer is defective.
Has anyone seen anything like this before?
Thanks,
Alex
P.S.
guys i bought a screen+digitizer from ebay but they were lying it only came with buttons for back and menu.
now i removed the glass and what i think is the digitizer and cant find digitizer online? the digitizer is thay dark film?
any help would be appreciated. its the galaxy s3 r530 metro pcs
After replacing the digitizer on my LG Revolution, I noticed that the broken digitizer I removed from the phone had a connector for the home buttons and the new one did not. I installed the new one and the buttons did not work. So I took it apart again, but I cannot figure out how to remove the ribbon from the old digitizer to put it on the new one.
Any help would be very appreciated :)
Hi,
I sat on my Samsung Galaxy S Captivate last night and most of the screen went black with just part showing, but no cracks on the screen are visible. I was able to put the phone into flight mode based on what I could see on the screen. This morning however there is no display at all on the screen.
I see that I can replace the screen and the digitizer.
I recently dropped my TF300 (in the process of jerry-rigging a carrying case for it, might I add) and it happened to shatter the glass and tear some of the ribbon for the digitizer, rendering it completely useless. The LCD beneath is fine, in fact I have already separated the LCD from the digitizer itself.
