I have installed an icon theme in Lubuntu. Icons have changed but not every icon. Folder icons are the same but there are many more icons for music folder, video folder etc. Opera has new icon, but they didn't change.
What should I do to change all the icons from the new icon theme?
I am using PCManFM as my file manager in Lubuntu.
I use the Faenza icon collection in Ubuntu 12.04 Unity with no issues.
As the opensuse icon of kmenu doesn't match my color scheme, I want to change the icon. I now this can be done by right clicking the icon go to properties, but this is just a temporary fix. Whenever I switch between kickoff and kmenu, the opensuse icon is back...
With kde 4.3.3 I managed to fix it by replacing the icons:
This may appear "old" as a question, but I am not getting the point and I will stick to kde3.5 up to July or December of 2010, so time to "play".

I am facing a problem with the dash not showing proper/actual icons for certain applications such as Google Chrome and Mozilla Daily Mail. Instead of getting the standard icons for these applications, I get to see a default icon for all the applications.
Hello,I am using the excelent Faenza-icon-theme, but the damn gvim icon will not change.What I have done,Change /usr/share/applications/gvim.desktopicon=gvimand icon=gvim.pngand icon=/usr/share/icons/Faenza/apps/48/gvim.pngI have also followed the directions on the Faenza project page, nothing worked.I have replaced /usr/share/pixmaps/gvim.png with the Faenza icon.Has anyone figured this out yet?T

The window icons appear to be unrelated to the icons used by launchers and docks, as they don't follow the ones defined in their respective .desktop files.
