I've been using the earphone for 3 months now with no problem, but just lately it started malfunctioning. With a slight move the sound suddenly cracks, or only the bass plays or something like that. I tried moving the wire in the earphone (the one nearest the jack) without moving it from the device, no malfunction happens. But when you rotate the jack around the port it malfunctions. Just in case my terms are wrong. Jack - the gold piece of metal you insert to the phone. Port - the 3.5mm headset jack on (General)

My earphone jack only connects sound to a single ear. Ive tried many healthy headsets but to no avail. Do you guys have any quick fix for this?

Or probably do you guys know how long it would usually take Samsung tech support if i send this to them? Do i leave my phone there for weeks? :o

Hi folks,

My earphones have started behaving abnormally. When i connect my earphone and listen to FM Radio, and i move my earphone a bit, the FM Station gets changed. then again if i try to go back to my previous FM station, my phone dials the first number in the call list. then if i end that call then it starts my music player. The music player also doesn't function properly.

My apple earphone plug broke clean and now is lodged deep inside the phone's jack. I've tried superglue with the ballpoint pen method, didn't work. I was wondering if i was to take the phone apart would i be able to push it out from the other side?

I have an alienware m14x specs http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=69...6844ddb5dcf84b the problem is that i inly get sound of one audio jack, and i have 2, also when i plug the hdmi it dosent work the audio. For my graphics card im using project bumblebee.
