http://www.itwire.com – Sony is looking past its nose into the future of entertainment, and is seeing a 3D generation.  At E3 today the electronics giant unveiled release dates and pricing for the PlayStation Move motion controller as well as software push into the third dimension.  Sony also announced a premium, not free, version of the PlayStation Network. Sony announced a video download service for the Australian market today in Sydney, but they also gave a select few (including myself) the chance to try out the new motion controller, and check out Sony’s PS3 based 3D gaming.

Sony is gearing up for a big announcement on February 20, according to invitations it sent out to the media on Thursday. Recently, Sony came out with yet another Xperia smartphone - the sony xperia. This is a PlayStation certified device, which means that it has access to some PlayStation games. The smartphone has been projected as an entertainment device by Sony, emphasizing its music/video playback, faster processor and gaming capabilities.

Sony on Wednesday launched the Xperia Tablet S at the IFA consumer electronics show in Germany. It's the second generation of the Tablet S, and it continues its predecessor's positioning as both a tablet and a universal remote control. However, the Xperia Tablet S is slimmer than its predecessor.

No it is not the NGP (Next Generation Portable), nor the PSP 2, it actually isn’t even the PlayStation Phone, but it will be a phone from Sony, capable of running PlayStation games without having your fingers get in the way.  It is the Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY, and it will be available in March.

  Looks like Playstation gamers will have something big to look forward to in a few weeks. Starting October 3rd, Sony will launch the Playstation Store for Playstation mobile devices. The Playstation Store will offer owners of Playstation-certified devices to play special content on select devices.

Sony had an event today and as expected, it introduced the PlayStation 4.

  For all you obsessed Playstation gamers, Playstation Mobile is here. Well— it’s more or less a renaming of Sony’s existing Playstation Suite for Playstation-certified devices and there looks to be plenty of promise for Sony’s revamped service.
