A new version of Linux Mint 8 has been released. This time including the popular streamlined window manager, Fluxbox as it's main desktop environment.

This release has been built with the emphasis on a lightweight and yet fully functional desktop centered on the Fluxbox window manager.
If you’re not happy with the default desktop environment (Unity shell on GNOME3) in Ubuntu 12.10 (Quantal Quetzal), then you can try installing some alternative desktop such as MATE, Cinnamon, KDE etc or a lightweight desktop environment such as XFCE.
