I was trying to burn a dvd with DvdStyler 1.8.3 and received a message that I needed a certain codec plugin. Where might I get this software? If these plugins are not available can I get around this problem by converting to a different format before creating the dvd ( I've been converting to mpeg2 with ffmpeg ). I own a Sony VAIO VPCEA35FL Laptop, and I'm having problems burning CDs/DVDs.
It seems that the burn process itself works, but once the disc is done, it can't be played.
I tried Brasero and k3b, both without success.
Sometimes the TOC can be read without a problem, but the data never is readable.

When i insert an empty disk it recognizes it, and appears on my desktop "blank Disk"
