DVD Ripping

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I would like to make a copy of a DVD which I own. This is fairly easy to do on Windows machines. How difficult is it on Linux machines? I installed dvdrip via yum on my fedora box, but it doesn't seem to do anything. I installed dvdripomatic in the same way, it it merely says "terminated" when I try to run it. All I want to do is to make a non-encrypted copy of the DVD, not re-encode the video data. What's the simplest way to do this on Linux machines? A command-line program would be fine. Something like "easyRip OutDirectory" is all you really need for the user interface. Is that possible on Linux machines? Thanks, Jim (HowTos)
