I deleted an account in my whm account and want to create an addon domain in another account in the same reseller account, but get the above error msg.
I've read some other threads and instructions to solve this, but need simple instructions regarding checking if the domain and dns still appear somewhere.

I had a POP account associated to a gmail account on TB 15 installed on Kubuntu Gnu/Linux OS.
Then I decided I wanted that gmail account to be treated as an IMAP account.
I'm trying to associate a DNS zone that I added in WHM to a user so that user has access to that account. I thought I did that when I created the zone, since it seems to be associated with an account. However, the domain does not show up in that account's cpanel anywhere and I'm unable to add it as an addon domain from there because it's already in use. I don't have SSH access to the server.

I have an Domain account with admin priviliges and I need to use that account to run the Hyper-v Machine Management Service. my goal is to use that domain account to create VMs using ISO files that are in a different server within the same domain.
