Greetings,
I installed Ubuntu 12.10 on a Thinkpad x120e that was running Windows 7. All I get is "Operating System not found" when I boot.
I started to look for solutions here:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UEFI
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/X120e
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1699238
And then did some googling and tried many fixes for many hours.

Hello,
I am using Wubi to install Ubuntu 12.04 on my windows partition, then I decided to migrate the Wubi install to a partition. I followed the steps on https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MigrateWubi, it was done correctly and I'm happy of the result.
The problem now is, my windows doesn't show up in boot loader - which means, I can't boot into windows. How do I resolve this?
I have recently installed Windows 7 AFTER having installed Ubuntu 9.10. When I reboot, the computer loads directly to Windows with no option to select an operating system after POST. I've been following the following guide:
Please don't murder me if this is covered elsewhere. I couldn't find a straight answer. Assuming I follow the top paragraph here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UEFI to install ubuntu for a dual boot with windows, can I REENABLE quickboot/fastboot and smart response technology after I've installed everything correctly? It'd be a bit of a bummer if I had to sacrifice those features.
Hi,
I have a OEM Windows 8 Sony Vaio E-series. Tried dual booting Linux Secure Remix (Ubuntu 12.10) with EFI having followed the instructions here:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UEFI
Disabled Secure-boot.
No option in BIOS to disable fast-boot.
Ran Boot-Repair with recommended conditions and restarted.
Hi there.
I had working sound on my server, installed some security updates, now it doesn't work.
I originally got the sound working by following the sound troubleshooting guide in here:
