I’m not sure we really need any more confirmation that the Google Nexus Tablet is going to be announced either today or tomorrow at Google I/O, but in case you’re still skeptical, Google has the Nexus banner on the third floor of the Moscone Center. Nobody was allowed up there yesterday, but we snagged a shot.
Google I/O 2012 was definitely one to remember as all Google I/O events were. Google put together a highlights video showcasing the entire 3 day event, and it’s only 3 minutes and 41 seconds long. Everything is covered like Jelly Bean, the Nexus 7, the Nexus Q, Chrome, Google Glass, and I think there was some skydiving if I remember correctly.
Stock Jelly Bean factory images are now available for the Samsung Nexus S and Nexus S 4G. The builds are labeled as JRO03E and JRO03L respectively. I’m sure this will make many Nexus S developers happy!

Sphero, our second favorite little robot, is one of the most creative ideas for a smartphone in the past few years. Some really dedicated Android users in Union Square, New York wanted to test out what they could do with the little robot ball by choreographing an entire light and dance show with 28 Sphero balls. It’s impressive, to say the least.
For those hoping or wondering if Google will eventually reschedule their Google Nexus event that was originally planned for today, you can stop wondering. It now appears that Google was going to announce the 5 Nexus devices (16/32GB Nexus 10 tablet, 8/16GB Nexus 4, and the 32GB HSPA+ Nexus 7) that were added to the Play Store today, but they will not be rescheduling the event itself.
Google has begun rolling out an updated version of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean to pre-release Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 devices.
Last week Android and Me originally broke the story that the soon to be released Android 4.2 would feature a Customization Center, an updated Google Now, and Project Roadrunner. Just like that, they have retracted the story saying it was completely false.
Since we are now in a holding mode while we await word from Google on how they are going to handle the cancellation of their event on Monday in New York City, what better way to pass the time than with a leaked video of the Nexus 10 tablet. Unfortunately, the time will be short – five seconds to be exact. You may be able to keep looping it if that will help.
Just as Apple’s WWDC and Microosft’s Surface and Windows Phone 8 keynotes were must-see launch event TV for technophiles, so too is Google’s 2012 I/O keynote event, with the Nexus 7 Tablet, Nexus Q social steaming device, Jelly Bean OS 4.1 and Project Glass live Skydive on offer to tempt and tantalise your digital taste buds.
