http://forum.xda-developers.com – Hello Genius developers at XDA! I have a bit of an issue I got my hands on a Droid Incredible running stock 2.3.4 and decided to root it. I unlocked my bootloader using HTCDev, downgraded to 2.2, rooted, flashed CWM, flashed the unrevoked forever s-off patch, flashed superuser, then began testing custom roms. I installed CyanogenMod 7.2 to the device for a while but decided to return to stock. I then flashed the unrevoked forever s-on patch and it went fine. I then tried to flash 2.2 to the device via RUU and it came up saying "ERROR 155." I figured I would try the HBOOT met (HowTos)

Can't return to stock ROM 23 weeks 5 days ago

I unlocked my bootloader from htcdev , flashed TWRP recovery , made a nandroid backup of stock rom , flashed su . while I wanted to flash custom I came to know that i have to flash 4ext recovery and enable smartflash (as i am s-on). I successfully flashed custom rom . Now i wanted to return to stock rom(which is updated to ICS ) . But when i restored the stock rom it struck at htc logo.

Just Rooted - Need advice 37 weeks 2 days ago

I've had my DINC since launch and for the past year or so, it's been turned off and sitting due to me getting a DINC2.

Finally got the time and desire to root it yesterday.

Because it had been off so long and had no network service it still had Froyo 2.2.

Okay so I just picked this phone up... totally reminding me why i dumped my last motorola.

anyways, i rooted it, sim unlocked it, unlocked the bootloader, flashed CWM and then flashed a 4.2.2 rom. wow, slow, buggy, lets go back to stock. loaded the 4.1.1 RSD file, edited the XML, then flashed... gets to flashing system then fails. WHY!? any ideas?

Okay, i attempted to root a friends WFS I unlocked the bootloader and flashed root.zip It was Unlocked. After that I flashed Superuser.zip that I found from somewhere and then directly flashed a modified Stock Rom that i'm using on my own phone. The phone is stuck on the HTC screen (white one with green HTC) and it refuses to move forward.

I had CM10 Nightlies running, and I decided I just wanted to be done and go back to full unrooted stock. So I downloaded the 1.85 RUU, relocked the BL, and ran the RUU.exe... After that it was just fine, but I realized I missed a lot of the basic things that come from having root. So I rerooted and installed TrickDroid...

Problem with recovery 8 weeks 3 days ago

This weird problem started when I was trying to install PureX Audio Mod. I have stock .434 rooted and locked bootloader. I have installed the CWM for locked bootloaders and it was working flwalessly. I also disabled flashing stock recovery on reboot and was working with the device.

Hi. Sorry to say this, but I am really stupid and decided to flash a custom rom, although I am a newbie when it comes to such things.

was rooted unlocked and s-off flashed wrong rom lost touch and was looping flashed back to stock to find no mms or mobile network in a panic like a dummy i ran stock ruu with out running recovery first now i lost root and cant reunlock bootloader "tried hundreds of times" but am still s-off and using phone is it possible to get a recovery without boot loader unlocked or rooted??please he

I'm a Noob with a problem. I believe this is what happen i updated the one s via OTA 1.84.531 gave me hboot 1.140004 and radio 1.08ts.50.02.16 then i decided to Root. when I rooted i flashed to a rom that apparently broke my wifi.
