Hi, Horde is a mystery with its disk space consumption...or is it something else?
The 'disk space usage' panel shows 45.74 mg being used by mail; when i click on 'mail' on the 'disk space usage' panel, the the in, out, send, trash boxes for all mail id's have far less than the amount of disk space usage noted on the above mentioned panel.
I recently downloaded something on my Redhat Linux computer, and it told me I was out of space. I checked my disk usage, and it says I've used 100% of my folder, but as you can see I still have almost 900Gb available.
Hi! When I log on to my cpanel account, the stats menu on the left shows disk space usage as 1480.39/∞. But when I click on the link of "disk space usage" it shows me as though the disk space usage is limited. For example my public_html shows that it is almost full making me worried of uploading more files.
When installing, I disable the swap partition, and it's fine (~ 600 MB free space after install), but after some time the disk fills up with I don't know what till the system fails some critical task due to insufficient free space and I have to reinstall. This happens without installing any additional applications. I keep all my data on a separate disk.
What to do?
Doesn't really tell us much more. No idea how much space is needed for your web sites. If you use the 73GB disk for the OS (plenty of space) you could do a RAID5 with all 6 disks.
I have a number of Linux webservers for which I'd like to track where disk space is going and keep disk space to a minimum.
Typically I login on SSH and use du to find out where disk space is wasted but this is cumbersome and slow.
Two dedicated separate servers running with identical configuration of hardware (Dual E5-2620 32GB) in similar environment (CentOS 6.3, Apache+PHP+MySQL) serving similar tasks, but behaving in different way of processing Apache web server - CPU usage 17x times bigger in server which has lower requests.
CPU Usage: u2.03 s1.05 cu316.97 cs0 - 4.35% CPU load
11.9 requests/sec - 5.3 kB/second - 4
Today we created an hosting account on a cpanel server with unlimited disk space.
But in fantastico while installing wordpress it showed error as:
Not enough space available to install WordPress
Disk space required: 9.56 MB
Disk space available: -0.5 MB
==
However in cpanel it was correctly showing as unlimited space.
We have changed it now to 500 GB and fantastico shows correctl
I'm running a Centos VM in VMWare Fusion 5.x. The VM is an Aspera file transfer server and the files being sent are stored on the mounted disk. I've allocated 50 GB for the VM disk and shared another volume from the host (/mnt/hgfs/Aspera). It looks like the file transfers are taking up space on the root volume and Centos is complaining that it's out of space.
