i have a stock S3 and got the 4.4.2 update about a month ago and i want to downgrade it. Since the update, the phone is laggy, and any of my apps that use the GPS aren't getting a good signal lock. Usually it only uses 10 out of 24 satellites.
How do i go about doing this? Do i just download a stock 4.1.2 or 4.3 rom and flash it with Odin?
SOMETIMES IT HAPPENS AFTER FLASHING SOME CUSTOM ROM IF U RESTORED BACK TO STOCK THE BOOT LOGO OF CUSTOM ROM REMAINS LOTS OF TRY CAN'T ABLE TO REMOVE IT THERE MAY BE CHANCES OF BRICK YOUR FON SO HERE IS THE SOLUTION FOR THAT JUST FLASH THIS FILE THROUGH CWM & U WILL GET BACK THE STOCK LOGO
This logo extract by me & converted to cwm flashable file
So I have a new phone coming in on Wednesday and I plan on giving this S3 to my mom. Switching from Blackberry to Android is a big enough jump for her, so I'm sure she won't understand on how to work this ROM. Also, she plans on taking both our phones to Tmobile so they can transfer contacts. How can I downgrade back to stock ROM without bricking my phone? Please help! Thanks in advance.
yesterday I had to flash GPE because I tried to downgrade my stock 4.4.3 back to 4.3 (jelly bean). then I failed to downgrade and stuck with a bootloop .. later I flashed GPE rom with flashboot and now I have GPE 4.4.4 atm (xt-1032)
my question is can I go back to stock kitkat by flashing a rom with a custom recovery (TWARP or CWM) ?
Omni 4.4.4 is great no doubt but i frequently use youtube app which doesnt work on omni, i guess due to neon instructions as dev say, also i have lag issues after flashing omni, so decided to downgrade. Will there be any problem if i downgrade from a custom rom to a stock ICS rom?
first of all I am sorry if this question as already an answer somewhere on the forum but I deed not find it out.
I have follow the clear tread from Mike 1986 about Unlock the boot-loader , Save your stock ROM, install custom recovery, root your device.
everything work fine for this.
I read that for have the OTA update I need to reinstall the Stock recovery--> so I have install the
