When I got to set a ringtone notification etc the factory tones show up twice. I go to the directory to delete them but there is only one copy there. Craziness
Use Mp3 Ringtone Factory to edit MP3, WAV, AAC, and AMR audio files and create ringtones, alarms, and notifications from them.
- Trim audio to ringtones, alarms, and notifications,
- Option to set ringtone loop number,
- Buttons to set begining and ending of a ringtone while audio playing
- Zoom options: Zoom in, out, show all
- Different skin colors,
- Audio library with many
There seems to be differing opnions as to under what folder you need to put your mp3 or whatever other format you want to use as custom ringtone, notification etc (e.g. one says sdcard/media/audio/ringtones/ another says sdcard/ringtones) and neither worked for me.
Does anyone know how to get my own mp3s to show up under setting when I want to pick the ringtone or notification sounds?
for the past few weeks I've been having some problems with ringtones and notification tones that I use. I've assigned individual ringtones to several contacts, and have also got separate notification tones for email and sms messages. Every few days these get put back to default and I can't work out what's causing it, it even happened to a playlist that I created, which got deleted.
This has happened to me twice now. All of the sudden, my photos don't show up in gallery at all. They still show in QuickPic however. Also, my notification tone and ringtones change to some unknown ringtone. My ringtones are still in my ringtones folder though. I restored about 2 weeks ago when this 1st happened, and now it's happened again. Any ideas why?
I added a few MP3's from a sound site, however some only work as ringtones but will not work as notifications. I have the two folders- Ringtones, Notifications but there is no choice to "set as" notification" only Phone ringtone, Caller ringtone or Alarm tone.
When I got my Galaxy Nexus over a year ago I put my custom ringtones and notifications in the /Media/Ringtones and /Media/Notifications folders, respectively, selected my ringtones and it's been working fine ever since, even after the 4.3 OTA update.
