The Internet Industry Association (IIA) has introduced a voluntary code of practice for Australian Internet service providers in a bid to improve cybersecurity for Internet users. It recommends that ISPs, in extreme cases, disconnect from the Internet a customer's computer that has been recruited into a botnet.
Okay so I've searched for this and I can't find it. Whenever I disconnect my razr from a charging source a popup is displayed at the top of the screen saying something along the lines "disconnected and some gibberish about disconnecting your phone to conserve power". THIS IS NOT the message that once your phone is fully charged to disconnect it to conserve power.
I'm running 11.2 on an HP HDX18 laptop. The internet connection works perfectly until I reboot the computer, then for some reason stops working. The connection is still detected and is showing as "connected", but I am unable to use my browser or any other internet-related apps.

I have a night unlimited DSL plan according to which I have to login after 0200 hrs and disconnect before 0800 hrs in order to avail this unlimited plan (500 Combo Plan, BSNL, India). I have used softwares in windows that automate the connecting/disconnecting thing and start the downloads (in BitComet). can anyone pls help me with doing the same in linux/ubuntu?
