I have read that a generic charger can damage a cellphone.
I have a Verizon Galaxy Note 2. The white Samsung charger that came with it won't charge my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 tablet.
Both chargers say 2.0A output, so I can't understand what the problem is.
The reverse is fine... the Tab 2 7.0's charger can charge the Note 2 to 100% without any issues.
Any guesses as to what the cause could be? Thanks!
I just lost my USB wall charger and realized my spares don't charge as fast as my previous one...
My previous charger had my phone at +700ma while in sleep, two of my spares can do 400 and one can only do 200!
I have a Nexus 7 factory-included charger and I was wondering if I could safely charge my Nexus 4 with it. Reading from the specs printed on the chargers, the N7 charger outputs 2.0A at 5.0V, while the N4 charger outputs 1.2A at 5.0V. If it's safe, would it affect the N4's battery longevity in the long term? Considering it would be charged with a higher current.
Hey all,
The Galaxy S4 has a major flaw that I have discovered and wondered if anyone else had noticed.
The device is so powerful that to use it and charge it at the same time you must put at least a 1Amp charger in so that it detects it as A/C charging and draws enough power.
If you connect the Samsung MHL 2.0 adapter or the new Samsung Dock to the phone, the device will only see the cha
I don't understand exactly what happened but my samsung galaxy note tablet 2 (10.1)'s charger broke. It's bent slightly back (metal part) and I noticed that there are small cracks on each side :'(. I bent it back into place and tried to see if my tab would charge but to no avail. I'm pretty sure that I would have to get a new charger but I'm worried that the charger jack is broken too.
Bit of an odd question....recently I have noticed that my Note II charger that came in the box is making a whistling noise. I dont know if this is a recent thing or if it has been doing it since new as I usually this charge in the office and there is a lot of background noise. Anyone else's doing this?
So I came to egypt to visit family about a week ago. My charger is 110v n here they use 220v..
Hi guys,
So far I have used 3 chargers. A Verizon green 10ft long charger, the charger for my Nexus 7, and a Verizon car charger.
Basically when I plug any of these chargers in it will show it is charging for a split second, then it'll go away. So in order for it to charge, I have to push the charger in really hard, push it down, or bend it to the right.
