Hey everyone,
I have been playing with Ubuntu Server for a bit and now I feel I am ready to take the next step and make my own business network for my small company.
I recently setup a new Exchange 2010 Server and when I go the Management Console it tells me that it is unable to connect to server. Currently it is displaying the wrong domain. Is there a way I can change the domain? Or do I have to remove the Active Directory Role.
I tried to use Remove-AcceptedDomain -Identity "domain" but that didn't work.
I have a commercial website on an Ubuntu web server and my hosting company has a mail server for all its customers.
For security reasons, do you think I should rely on my hosting company's centralized mail server for my domain's email? Or should I just set up my own mail server on the same Cloud server?
Maybe I should use Google Apps' mail server for my own domain?
Thanks in advance
I have a postfix mail server serving domain example.com. I've set up another mail server serving sub.example.com, and it relays all outgoing mail to first mail server which sends it worldwide. But the main server keep responding me with "Relay access denied."
Which directive to use on the main server so it will send mails further, which are received with sub.example.com domain?
I'm looking into simplifying my web server setup and migrating from a Verio MPS dedicated machine to a rackspace cloud server.
One of the things I least relish is setting up mail servers, so I'm considering moving the mail for my domain to google apps mail.
I purchased a wildcard SSL certificate for one of the domains on our server thinking it would also cover the mail.domain.com as well. That account is running on a dedicated static IP and our server is using a shared IP.
Hi,
We have a mail server which has Zimbra installed on it and a file server. Folks use the same login information they use to access their email to access the file server. So the file server is using the same LDAP server as the mail server.
Couple days ago, at around 12 PM all of the sudden, the SSH connection to the mail server failed. The mail server itself was up and running just fine.
I have to setup a mail server because my hosting account don't allow me to send over 250 mail/hour.
I have a HP microserver at home and I want to use it to send the mails.
I configured Virtualmin on it and i created the domain example.com in it (I have example.com registered with hosting on my hoster) but when I tried to send mail from outlook, my server send the emails, but gmail mark it as spam
My test server is going well for the past 2 months. I have learned a lot from searching the net for how to's and forums on questions I have. My next task on the to-do list is enabling ssl on my mail server. I have the ssl setup with an automatic redirect from http to https. It is working fine with a minor issue.
I have 2 domains and several subdomains on the server.
