A domain controller is a server which groups multiple computers to centralize their authentication system. When you are using a domain controller, you don't login to your computer, but instead login to the domain controller. Every authentication request is handled by the Primary Domain Controller (PDC).
I want to build active domain controller master - master as below:
1 server run windows server 2008 R2 make domain controller
1 server run CentOS 6.4 make LDAP + SAMBA
Can I do this problem?
Now, My system have one LDAP+SAMBA do Primary domain controller, but I want to build SQL server cluster, to do this, I must have two server run windows server which are joined domain controller.
I lost my domain controller machine, and then add new domain controller but with other domain. How to remove network machines from old domain using command line and add to new domain? Machines using Windows Server 2008 Core (command line only)
net computer \\name del
works only on domain controller.
When I try to exit from old domain, console requests username and password for exit.
I'm quite new to networking with Windows Server so please bear with me. I have Windows 2008 Server machine that I want to use a a domain controller. I'm currently in a Regus shared office and we're using their network for internet.
