My Samsung Focus is stuck on a blinking Samsung Logo screen (black, with just Samsung writing). It has been stuck like this for the past twelve hours or so, and I have attempted to take the battery out for half an hour before replacing it, as well as a hard reset and simply restarting the phone. Nothing works, as it stays on the blinking Samsung Logo screen.
OK, for some reason my a100 started acting funny today. I went to restart it and it wouldn't get past the Acer screen. So I figured I would do a hard reset. It still won't get past the screen. I am on ICS, was rooted and that's all..no different rom. I have been trying the paper clip method but doesn't get past the first Acer screen.
Hi everyone,
So I just upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S3 this past Monday and exchanged it today for a new one because I went to turn on the screen and the phone was not responsive.
The screen would remain black and would not respond to any button on the phone. The notifications light was off and when I tried calling the phone it would ring on the outgoing end, but my phone would not.
My battery died, after I charged it up the phone won't load past Jelly Bean boot screen with X on it. I am able to access bootloader, however after recovery it still starts loading at X screen. Is it possible to recover the data off the phone?
Phone is locked.
After installing Jelly Bean and then doing a factory reset my screen now turns on when my phone is fully charged. It will turn off as long as I uncheck the "Stay Awake" box, but I'd rather it didn't turn on at all.
Firstly, does this happen to everyone? I'm pretty sure my phone never used to do this before but maybe I just never noticed it.
Second, is there a way to disable it?
Hey so i've been really keen on trying to make my own custom boot animation something i actually think is funny but every time i load it the screen goes black past the google screen.
So here's my story...
I hated the new ICS official update that sprint rolled out because of my diminishing battery life. So i decided to finally root the phone and install some roms. Everything went well for the past week but now my phone screen flickers and then my phone shuts off when i still have around 80% battery life left.
I have a slight issue. My wife's evo 3d screen is no longer coming on. Her phone is HTC Dev Unlocked. Battery is charged, and it doesn't matter if I try to get into bootloader, recovery, or just try to power the phone on. The capacitive buttons light up like they should, but the screen on the phone does not come on. I'm guessing that the light fr the screen went out.
So, here's the problem.
