hiya everyone I'm new to ubuntu.
I'm dealing with Ubuntu since about 5 years and installed it on several laptops. Now I'm stuck when trying to install Ubuntu 12.04.1 on a brand new Macbook Pro 13" Retina (10,2). I sucessfully can start Ubuntu from an USB stick, the Ubuntu desktop is visible, a mouse cursor is visible. But there is no respond to keyboard or touchpad input.
Where is the md5sum for ubuntu-12.04.1-desktop-i386.iso, please? After some forum searching, I found that the md5 sums are not located on the download page like most distros and I did find the link to https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuHashes but 12.04.1 files aren't listed there and the one for the 12.04 file does not match.
The ubuntu-12.04-desktop-i386.iso will not work with my processor.
