Does SSD TRIM (discard) work on ext4 + nested LVM in Linux?

http://serverfault.com – I will be setting up KVM guests on a computer of mine soon. I plan to run Ubuntu 12.04.1 on the host. But I can switch to Fedora 17 if necessary (comfortable with both RH and Debian types of distros). I plan to use the following layout for KVM guests: host: SSD + LVM + ext4 guests: LVM + ext4; each guest gets a LVM logical volume from the host So, the LVM is nested in this scenario. I am aware of the fact that if I use just ext4 for guests, then TRIM would be passed down to the underline storage device, i.e. host: SSD + LVM + ext4 guests: ext4; each guest gets a LVM logical volume from (HowTos)
