Hey guys. I just wiped and upgraded from CM10 8/14 build to the 8/31 build. I always hate the arduous process of reinstalling apps (for some reason, the automatic restore of all apps from the Play Store has only happened once, I can never get it to happen consistently)
Anywho, I wiped, flashed the new build and gapps, and then rebooted and signed in.
I looked through the similar thread section but I could not find anything that solved my problem. I am relatively new to flashing roms. I flashed clockwork recovery, made a backup of stock, and switched to cyanogen mod 10 for my device. It worked great, and made a backup of that too.
The title sums it up. This is a working stock recovery backup that has been tested. It is a necessity due to the lack of a dependable source for a stock backup. I will include several mirrors to increase its reliability.
If you don't know where to place it, here are some quick instructions.
Trying to download backup from dropbox to galaxy s2. When i go to titanium backup and click RUN it just completes an upload but doesn't put any of the apps from my previous galaxy s2 on the new one. When i go to batch restore it says i only have 53 apps to restore. On my old phone it says i have over 200 apps to restore. I've even tried saving the backups to different locations.nothing.
I'm an iPhone user who got a galaxy s3 recently, so I've few problems with my android phone
The most important concerns the backup. In ios it was easy as itune manages all (apps, musics, pics, personal info, etc).
But in android, I use my google account to sync contacts and calendars. There is also Kies for samsung phones to backup media files. But, it remains the apps!!!
I want a nandroid backup of stock rom because I have installed custom rom and want revert back
to stock rom I have made a backup of stock rom before installing custom rom but when I restore it the
restore completes but the phone stucks at boot Samsung galaxy y young...............
I have a question lol I wanted to make sure of this before I completly restore my phone back.
Ok so I rooted my phone about a month ago, I have supersu and it can unroot, I also have clockworkmod v6.03, and uninstalled some system apps as I had like chaton, and a lot of apps that I never would use, I did backup each uninstalled app so I can reinstall them at anytime and I know how to uninstall
