When watching video streams in Iceweasel/Firefox I can`t use the fast forward function in the media player.Dragging the cursor forward only results in that it returns from where it were. Clicking/holding the ff buttondoes not help either, nothing happens. Do I need to install some kind of extra function package?
I'm trying to figure this out because it's so annoying. When I am in my car and I want to fast forward the song just keeps fast forwarding until the next song and keeps going instead of just going forward like 5-10 secs. when I finally hit play it will pause and stop unless i pause and play a few times. I've been using PowerAmp and have checked their forums with no answers :(.

Is too fast. I can scroll a entire page moving my fingers only a feel millimeters. Changing the option in kde-touchpad do not fix it. I set the option to 10mm and still too fast. Is like it (the option) should have to go to 50mm to slowdown enough, but 10mm is the max.

if I pipe in the live stream and export to a mkv container (with h264 and aac inside), I can watch while I'm encoding but I can't fast forward until the file is no longer being written (I have the same limitation/result if I try view
Sony appears to be ready to launch a new Xperia smartphone on June 22nd but is calling out to ‘Sony fans’ to help push the launch date sooner. Sony is giving people the opportunity to “fast forward” the device launch by clicking the fast forward button and liking their Facebook page.
