The company I'm working for previously bought a small company who had their own e-mail service via some provider.
I'd like to use my gmail account connected via exchange activesync. I set that up with various email apps and it works nicely.
The only problem is that I don't use my gmail address as my known email address. I have an alias that points to gmail.
I'm no novice on networking technology, but one thing I don't really know much about in detail is email and headers. How does email work SPECIFICALLY?
I'm getting spam in my hotmail inbox when I've made painful attempts to not give out my actual email. I use my own domain name to forward email to my inbox using several aliases.
Every day
I get an error mail from the server, about an email that could not be sent.
The error mail is sent successfully by ssmtp.
The mail that failed to get delivered, is failed because it's sent by the cron service to:
andre@odin2 (no such email address exist)

Hoping someone can help me configure this.
I have assigned a dedicated IP and setup a DNS for mail.domain.com to the dedicated IP address.
Now mail.domain.com is used to send email (SMTP). However, when I look at the headers of the received email, it is the domain and IP address of my primary reseller domain.
I want the IP address and domain to be sent from mail.domain.com in the headers.

I'm trying to locate an email account, which is auto forwarding to a third party email address, on a Mac Mail server. I have checked Workgroup Manager and check each accounts mail settings but I can't find any account which has the email address or is forwarded to the third party address.
