Hi i have a samsung galaxy mini phone and a note 10.1 tablet. I have a craddle in the car for the tablet and all i want to do is connect the phone to the tablet via bluetooth and have the tablet act as my phone by displaying all the information that i would have on my phone on the tablet and use the tablet as a handsfree phone... Is this possible?
In another post the KDE tablet project's death was announced.
What about Ubuntu's tablet and phone?
I try to keep up with all the latest news in the Linux world. This morning I realized that I sensed a void in the Force. I hadn't seen any news coming out of Canonical concerning its tablet and phone offerings in the usual media.
All I have is my phone:
Motorola Photon Q 4g Sprint
And my tablet:
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7" GT-P3113
I like using my tablet cause it's got a bigger screen and the battery isn't too terribly bad on it vs the 2 hrs use I get out of my phone (cause I'm constantly on it!) SO, I was thinking... How can I remote access my phone from my tablet?
High density phone devices now support tablet size and phone. I have an app in the marketplace and I need to update the phone project to support 4.2, but its overriding the tablet version 4.2 They both have the same package name. Thanks
I've been reading up on using a Nexus 7 as a car stereo/head unit replacement. It seems that just about everything under the sun is possible with this and, because of its size, installations look awesome across the board.
The only thing I haven't been able to find a definitive answer to yet is hands-free phone operation.
This vendor has 2 different apps - one optimised for phone and one for tablet. the former is basically a crippled version of the tablet app. as I am using a Note 3, i see no advantage in using the phone app and would like to use the tablet app instead.
i understand there are currently 2 ways to trick the app into thinking my note 3 is a tablet:
I have a rooted HTC Flyer. Previously, I've used my 3 sim card in it with no problems. However now, 3 have decided to block internet access to my tablet with a message saying "your sim will only work in your phone".
I don't really see the difference since my tablet makes calls and sends texts, it's basically a large phone.
