Do you still recommend using multiple partitions if using Btrfs?

https://bbs.archlinux.org – 1. yes, but you would simply be making a subvolume and then cp -a everything over (or rsync).2. Snapshots take no space initially. They are simply the same extents used for the first subvolume allocated to two places.  But as you use your system and things change, the changed blocks are then written and tracked.  So over time they will get bigger, but will tyically will never get to occupying the space of all accessible files (or even getting close).  The only way this might happen is if you snapshot something and then use either the original or snapshot directory and totally ov (HowTos)
