I read fairly recently that google wallet now accepted debit cards along with credit cards.
I really don't want my credit card linked as I have a debit card I use specifically for online purchasing and such.
I prefer to be able to transfer a set amount into the account and know I can't eat away at my credit card.

I bought the nexus 7 when it came out without any problem using my non us credit card on the us play store. Will I still be able to buy the nexus 4 with this credit card or are there new restrictions for nun us credit cards?

What happens when one purchases multiple Nexus 7s at the same time? (through Google Play) I bought two together; one for myself, another for my daughter. I received the $25 credit for mine ok, but cannot so with hers. What gives? We tried it through my own account, her account, and even created a new account, all to no avail.
Thanks to Android Police, latest information upon Google’s next venture in their Google Wallet project has surfaced.
Time's running out to get your credit. Promo terms here.

As users with Google’s new Nexus 7 tablet are figuring out, when setting up the device to access the Play Store, Google is providing a $25 credit for registering. But the good times don’t stop there.
Sorry if this has been covered. I searched but didn't see any recent posts on the issue.
Today is my sons Birthday. We had all his relatives give him Google Play cards because he wants a tablet. He has enough credit for the tablet. When we went on-line to buy it we found out that even though the tablet is sold in the Google Play store, you can't use Google Play credit to buy it.
Engadget has a horribly worded article about the $25 google play credit expiring.
The Google press release is just as unhelpful.
Based on both, I cannot tell whether that means everybody's $25 credit (or whatever is left) is expiring, or whether they will simply stop giving new buyers the credit.
