Hello everyone.
I have an Acer Iconia 7" A100 8GB Tablet with version 4.0.3 and a new Motorola Razar M from Verizon. I have attempted to try and tether using Pdanet Tablet and FoxFi with both Wifi and Bluetooth, but they both do not work. The Wifi says it is Obtaining the IP Address, but never receives it.
I have just bought myself a Galaxy Tab 2 and my gf a Nexus 32gb.
I have effectively given up downsizing my movies for use on sd cards, it is too much agro. I want to use a wifi hard drive like this.
USB 3.0 Wireless 2.5" S-ATA Hard Drive Enclosure WiFi Network Storage Unit | eBay
Will MX player play blu rays off an HDD?
My Nexus 7 loses WiFi signal more often than none. Granted, I am in my room with the door closed at night and the wireless router is located 3 rooms down the hall from me but, often when there is signal and access given to other devices in my room (such as my Droid Charge, my wifes SGII, and my ITouch), my Nexus 7 shows it as "Authenticating..." and never connects.
Hi..
I purchased a new HP Laptop (HP 2000 series). I have installed Kubuntu 12.10 ,but I am unable to use wifi.
Hello, I am new here, though I have been using fedora linux quite happily for the past 3 months and I am having a problem with one of my external USB hard drives by Toshiba.
This is a large topic I'm sure but a question that encapsulates the idea is;
How can a directory mount the hard drive? How can a list of files sitting on a hard drive that is not in RAM run your computer and then mount the physical device that stores the code that it is running?
If you’re anything like me, you have at least two smartphones in your house, a tablet, a couple of bluetooth headsets, and plenty of other devices that all need to be charged on a regular basis. The future is inductive charging for sure, but it’s going to be a while till it gets widely adopted.
I disabled bluetooth from bluetooth tray menu (unity), then bluetooth was disabled, and wireless disabled too. I can't enable bluetooth and wireless again. It said:
bluetooth is disabled by hardware switch
wireless is disabled by hardware switch
I checked BIOS, no bluetooth, wireless option.
FN+F2 doesn't work.
sudo rfkill unblock all doesn't work.
I recently purchased a Dell Inspiron Mini Duo 3487FNT Convertible Laptop/Tablet. The specs:
Intel Atom N550 Processor (1.5GHz); 2GB RAM; 320GB Hard Drive; Wireless 802.11n / Bluetooth Combo Card; 10.1" Widescreen HD (1366X768 ) Multi-Touch Display; Integrated Intel NM10 Express graphics; and Windows 7 Home Premium pre-installed.
I decided to dual boot with Ubuntu 12.04LTS.
