Hello, I am trying to configure a DNS server on one of my virtual machines called server1.example.com. I resolved the ip address 192.168.122.50 to server1.example.com but in order to ping server1.e... [by DK907]
I am currently looking at an issue that's puzzling me somewhat regarding the behaviour of vsFTP. I have a server with both vs- and ProFTP installed, and I want to use the latter to connect to the same server over FTP (yes, the same server - it's for testing).
Here is the following scenario: I have server1 and server2 and using sshfs I mount a directory from server2 on server1, let's say /mnt.
Now, if I try to unpack a 50K files archive on server1:/mnt it takes 13 mins to complete while doing the same on server1:/local_dir will only take some 5 seconds.
I was wondering if there is any way/configuration that could speed up the things.
