I'm currently on Fourth Bar: Revolution rom for the P7510 with Yoda's v2.2 kernel. The problem I'm having is that when I plug headphones in, the volume intensity appears to be maxed and won't change. The volume rocker is working and changes the volume slider on the screen. When just using the speakers everything works fine.
I've been having a problem recently where I haven't been getting any sound alerts for receiving text messages and I finally figured out why: The notifications volume is tied with media volume, which I usually keep muted when I don't have headphones plugged in. Is there any way to change this?
Hello everyone :)
I have sound issues with my hp dv6 Ubuntu12.04 laptop.
I tested it with : Speakers, bose oe2 headphone, apple headphone, cheap headphone from airlines company.
The first issue is that when i play a song on speaker (beats audio) the volume is really much lower than on windows.
Recently I've noticed a problem that I most certainly didn't have before. The problem is that the in call volume keeps going down to around 50% with every new call. When I receive or make a call, the in call volume is around 50%, which is not enough for me. So I make it louder to 100% and can talk just fine.
I have no media volume at all. I have tried to turn it up multiple ways. In settings/volumes, media volume is greyed out and wont allow adjustment. I hold down power, media volume showes muted. I click unmute but as soon as i leave options it returns to muted. I have even tried 3rd party volume control apps and get the same thing.
Hey guys, I'm running the Elitemod ICS rom on my Desire Z, and lately I've been having some really really strange issues with audio. Firstly, when I plug headphones in nothing happens, and when I adjust the volume the beep that plays goes through the speaker not the headphones, but music or videos go through the headphones, no headphones icon appears as I think it used to do.
Ok, I installed pavucontrol, and switched my output to speakers. It would seem that when it is set to headphones (auto-volume switching), it is attempting to send audio to a non-existent channel on the sound card. I believe the switching of audio is all done through the card, which is why it breaks when it is done through software (it works through headphones when speakers are set as o
I'VE BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE THIS OUT SINCE THE PHONE CAME OUT, EVER SINCE I ROOTED IT, THE SYSTEM VOLUME, THE MEDIA VOLUME, AND ESPECIALLY THE VOICE CALL VOLUME CHANGE ON THEIR OWN!
the voice call volume is just set to full blast every time i make or receive a phone call, no matter how many times i set it lower
the system volume changes randomly, along with the media, which isn't THAT big of
I'm running Kubuntu 12.04 on my lenovo y410 laptop, and recently my sound started coming from both headphones and speakers at the same time.
I compiled and installed the realtek driver and now the automute works but the headphone volume is very low, and in alsa mixer the headphone slider is disabled (it just says 00 and won't adjust).
