I'm looking for a way to permanently mount any media placed in the super drive (data cd / audio cd / data dvd / video dvd).
I am using a PowerMac G5 running Fedora 12. No media mounts automatically.
When i restart to fedora, the media left in the super drive does not mount.
Media in the super drive will boot (live cd) at open firmware option 'o'.
I am having major issues copying any media to a USB ie MoviesI have a media player that takes USB so i copy movies to a USB to watch them.In Arch anything i copy across gets corrupted, it copy's across fine but cannot be played. No error show any where. If i copy the same file from either Fedora or Mintlinux, no issue at all the file is fine and can be played.
I'm trying to dual-boot Fedora 17 and Windows XP. I installed Fedora from the live-cd with no problem onto a second hard drive, and put GRUB2 on the first drive so it's the boot loader.
When I try to boot Fedora I get a "Cannot open file font True" message and it stops booting. I looked around and found that the error should only delay the booting, and found how to fix it.

Hello all, looks like ran into my first problem that I couldn't solve myself.
Hi everyone!
First off, I am a returning Fedora user. The last time I used it was Fedora Core 7. I recently tried out Ubuntu, and found it a bit buggy and unstable. So I decided to return to Fedora.
I presently run Windows 7, which sucks up the entire hard drive, except for a 25GB hidden ASUS recovery partition (for recovering the OEM Windows).
Hi guys, i have at the moment a dual boot with Windows 7 and Ubuntu 9.04 each one in separate hard drives, when i installed Ubuntu it taked care of the dual boot system letting me choose wich OS to run when turned on.

Thank you in advance for your replies.
i had two operating systems , windows 7 (ultimate) & fedora 16 working in my system .
Recently windows 7 had crashed and I formatted the /dev/sda1 drive and reinstalled it in the same drive. But when the system starts it directly boots windows 7 without the grub boot menu and am not able to use fedora .
