Distro for Dell Inspiron 1440

Hey guys, I'm from Argentina and I met a few days ago and I love this distro, I use Linux since 2004 and I would love to install #! but I have the following problems. Of course I have a Dell Inspiron 1440 Notebook, 3GB of RAM and a 500gb hard drive with W7 and I use it for work. And I love to use both systems on my computer.Try to install #! via USB but I could not do it.

Can anyone comment on its behaviour with Linux (any distro)?

I have an old Dell Inspiron 630m with Windows XP and I want to put some Linux distro on it. I have tried Ubuntu 12 but it did not work (nothing happend). Downloading older versions is slow. I am not a nerd (only wanabe) so I'm afraid of installations that are more complicated than Ubuntu.

I will soon be purchasing a new laptop & currently the Dell Inspiron 17 is my favourite. I have been looking around for compatibility issues and it seems to be fine.

I am trying to get my Bluetooth working on Ubuntu 12.04 for my Dell Inspiron 15R Laptop.

I have tried installing Blueman, but yet Ubuntu is unable to access my Bluetooth Device. Could anyone help me with installing the drivers and configuring the bluetooth.

I'm looking at buying a Dell Inspiron 1564, and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it?

If this would be a bad choice of laptop hardware, could anyone suggest a more Ubuntu-friendly one?

My Dell Inspiron 15R (64 bit) keeps shutting down after every 30 minutes after installing Ubuntu 12.04 desktop. Also laptop gets heated up very quickly.

Any help/suggestion/advice is appreciated.
