can somebody share their CM10 setting for the display light control please.
i find that is it to bright when in a dark room, what setting should i change to lower the screen auto brightness ?
Hi, I have my phone on the lowest setting of Settings -> display -> brightness and I also have automatic brightness turned off, and the screen is still too bright and drains battery like crazy. My friend's galaxy s3 is so much dimmer and she can go even lower. Any suggestions? Much appreciated! :)
On my old Droid X, custom roms left the option there to set your own thresholds to ambient light as well as custom brightness levels. This was necessary, due to its weird reporting of ambient light to begin with.
On CM9 on the X, that would be under Display in the system settings. With CM10 on the S III, there's no such option.
i'd like to share my personal daily rom. Its main purpose is to allow you to read in bed without disturbing your girlfriend. :D
This is reached with allowing the brightness to go down to the (nearly) absolute minimum.
I'm trying to play a game (Deus Ex) which I have to modify the brightness since it is very dark in my ambiance. The game has a "Brightness" setting, but lately it doesn't work. I tried to figure out how to change it and find out that xgamma do a similar effect with xgamma -gamma 5.
Tried to google this but could not find anything. Upon flashing CM10 I discovered an irritating little thing. When the lights dim/darkens, it stutters/lags.. I know there must be a setting that controls a more smooth transition and I was hoping that someone could direct me to that setting :)
Like most other Android devices, the Note 10.1 has an "Auto Brightness" option. However, unlike most other Android devices (in my experience so-far), you can further tweak the brightness even when "Auto Brightness" is enabled, effectively adjusting the sensitivity of the auto-brightness mechanism.
