Display resolution

http://www.linuxforums.org – Installed Ubuntu 9.10 onto a clean system, then adjusted the screen resolution to display on (16:9) and then saved the changes thinking that I could re-adjust as necessary. I can't seem to re-adjust the resolution again because the System-Preferences-Display adjustment screen won't scroll down enough to let me change the settings again. Almost everything that I need to adjust is off-screen. Tried control+ and control- to no avail. Installation was so painless that I am willing to re-format, but resolution too big to let me do anything. Can anyone help me, Please? (HowTos)
