I wonder if anyone has some insight before I submit this issue as a bug. I am running a dell studio 17 laptop with Fedora kernel: uname -a Linux MrRoboto.XXX 3.5.4-1.fc17.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Sep 17 15:03:59 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux I have been running this version of the OS for several months with no problems. The other day I accepted the latest round of updates for this system. That's when i started noticing some disk issues when doing development (HowTos)

I upgraded my system (using FC17 dvd) from fedora 16 to fedora 17. But when I type the command

why is it showing fc16 and not fc17.....????:blink: :confused:

I am running a Dell Studio 17 laptop with Fedora 17 (3.5.4-2.fc17.x86_64) and gnome desktop. For the last week I have been seeing a disk file corruption issue that I hope someone can help me troubleshoot.

The basic issue is that I after working with the system for a while I start to see disk messages essentially informing me that my drive is (re)mounted read only.

I installed fc17 x86_64 on a 1TB disk and it boots fine. I have an old fc15 2TB disk that I'd like to add to the system without making any changes to the disk itself.

Hello, I have been having a issues with my nvidia drivers not working. I have been googling and reading the forums but still no resolution.

I'm currently running CentOS (or Red Hat?).

uname -a gives (I edited out my domain name)

I just got everything up and running under F17 and am having issues generating a xorg.conf.

I have just updated the kernel to
