disable blinking text in virtual terminal

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Hi I want to use mplayer to watch videos in a virtual terminal (for various reasons). I've done it before without any issues but on fedora much of the text will blink in a very annoying fasion. If you want to know what blinking I'm talking about put the following command in a virtual terminal. (not in a terminal emulator like gnome-terminal or something because it won't have the same effect. I'm talking about ctrl+alt+f*) Code: echo -e "\033[1;5m" lol I want to know how to disable the text blinking so that it will just show solid when a program tries to output that. (HowTos)
