Direct Cron output to external email address

http://serverfault.com – I've got an Ubuntu server with the hostname node1.mydomain.com. I have mydomain.com set up with Google Apps for email, and mail sent to node1.mydomain.com arrives in the correct Google Apps mailbox. However, mail sent from this server through sendmail (by cron, php, or whatever else) to node1.mydomain.com only gets delivered locally to the user's mailbox, and isn't sent out over SMTP. Mail to any other address, including [email protected], works fine. I'd still like mail to node1.mydomain.com to be delivered to the user's local mailbox, but I'd also like it sent out over SMTP.
