http://crunchbang.org – I am having trouble connecting a Canon DSLR in CrunchBang. When I plug the camera in to the computer with the USB cable, nothing happens--it does not detect it like it does with a USB flash drive. I check the File Manager and no "camera/drive" is displayed. I tried gphoto2 in the terminal and it can detect the camera but has an error trying to connect to it. I tried darktable and Rawstudio--darktable freezes when scanning for devices, but it can detect the camera in its open dialog when choosing to load images--however, then the same thing, it has error when trying to connect. I have flashed the CM10 Rom, form a stock Rom(LJ7 HK)

but when i open the camera, it show the dialog "Camera error: Can't connect to the camera" even i try to install another camera app, the dialog appear again...><

can somebody tell me how to fix this problem?

I'm running TWRP 2.4.1.0 on hboot 1.14 s-off. With any 4.2 ROM that I flash, the camera gives an error reading "can't connect to camera". I've tried factory reset, clearing app data, and installing the camera separately. I'm not sure what I need to do to get it working. I've tried flashing several AOKP, CM, and sense roms, and none fix the problem.

today I updated my F16 via yum and after the update i got no connection to my Canon IXUS 90IS Digital Camera. Yesterday and the last 8 weeks it worked fine.

I have just recently downloaded the new version of XUbuntu 11.10 v i138 iso onto my desktop computer. I previously ran Ubuntu long term version 10.4. I then could plug in my digital camera and up came the scgreen to recognis it and download the pictures.

On XUbuntu it purely comes up with an icon to say it has recognised that a camera has been plugge din and nothing else.

Hello,

I installed PAC Rom 19.3.0 onto my HTC One V and it is running well. But I ran into a few problems:

1. When I try to open my camera I get a camera error "Can't connect to the camera"

2. When I try to load any video (youtube/internet) I get an error "Video can not be loaded"

Whenever I open my camera, I get "Camera Open Error"..

I downloaded Pudding Camera.apk in the market and i get the same thing..
