http://forums.cpanel.net – Hello, I'm transferring my accounts to my new server. After completion of the transfer, I found that the disk space usage of each account on the new server is different than the original usage. for example mysql of an account was using only 30MB on the old server but it becames more than 1.5GB on the new server! or another account was 5GB on the old server but it becames 1.5GB on the new server. It's too strange. I'm using "Restore a full backup / cpmove file" option in WHM. Please help me how do I fix it? My old server will be expired in the next 24 hours and I've to transfer all (HowTos)

My host doesn't allow me to produce a full CPMOVE file for my account as it's using a large amount of disk space and they claim the backup process crashes their server.

I am able to generate a .tar file from the command line of my entire home directory (/home/jack) without causing too much load (using nice) and am able to email support and have an admin create me a cpmove file skippin

I have a problem which I can't fix

I have 3 servers

server A using DNS ns.dns.net ip 1.2.3.4 ns2.dns.net ip 1.2.3.5

server B using DNS ns.dns2.net ip 1.2.3.6 ns2.dns2.net ip 1.2.3.7

server C this server should receive accounts from server A and server B

I would transfer account from server A and B , and I would do this without asking to customers to change DNS applied to their dom

Long story short: I have many accounts in WHM, many domains. However, most of the MySQL databases were created under one user, "admin" (let's say it's admin.com). I recently moved the admin.com account to another web server , and now I need to move it back. I would like to restore this account from a backup made by that web server.

I want to know easy way to migrate old WHM server to new WHM server. I have up to 50 account on my old server and my new WHM server transfer option not working. Please suggest me a easy way to migrate all account very fast. I have root access for both server.

I have come across a very odd problem that is replicated on three cpanel server's two running release builds and one running on a current build.

I have 3 dedicated server all with software raid-1 sata, centos or cloudlinux and cpanel. To all of them the last 10 days or so during cpanel incremental backup server has high io usage and hangs out. No server is overloaded with many account's (10 accounts -60 accounts and 300 accounts average each server). To the one with 300accounts ( ex-6 hetzner) i added a 3rd hd for /backup didn't see any ch
