Phones are constantly getting faster and faster. And in a year or two they will be a small PC in your hand. The question I have is when will speed be more than is usable? Currently PC's have hit the wall because of several limits in ram, hard drive etc making the CPU speed ups useless.
Nexus phones were never complete spec beasts as in one or two items always seemed to trail other high-end devices. The Nexus S had a mediocre CPU, the Galaxy Nexus had a horrible camera, and the Nexus 4 didn’t offer an LTE option. While most high-end phones in 2013 will probably sport a 1080p display, this week’s rumor says the Nexus 5 won’t.
Guys, I am new to XDA and new to Android. I was a blinded iPhone follower until now. I believe that I can do more with an Android phone than my iPhone. I don't think that I will try another iPhone. I thing its time to try something else. Of all the phones out there the one that I like the most is the Galaxy Nexus. I have heard that it is the most customizable phone out there.
Hey guys so I caved and got the Galaxy Nexus the play store version as I saw the receipt I had payed 300 bucks for it as it is the 16 gig, and in like brand new like condition... Even the box was still newish like what ever that I is supposed to mean...
Now I have had the HTC n1 and the Nexus s and a slew of other phones...
Someone I know wants to trade me his rezound for my galaxy nexus . Both phones are pretty much brand new and flawless. I was wondering how much money he should put plus the rezound for my phone. The rezound does does not come with the beats ear buds.
coming from a galaxy nexus, it's time for a change. and I'm between the nexus 4 and One X+. keeping in mind the dangerous back glass of the nexus 4, I'm turning to the one x+. but is the 1GB ram vs the 2GB a big difference ? does it have the same acceptance from the developers as the nexus does? (custom ROMs, kernels etc.) any opinions accepted
I have just bought my first Nexus... the N4. You guys are still rockin' the very first Nexus...why is that? I'm by no means trolling. I'm just curious. My previous phone was the Atrix 4G and before that the Samsung Jack. How does the Nexus S compare to some later model phones now.... as in build quality?
I have a Galaxy S3 in the mail from Tmobile right now, got it for under $200. Thinking of selling it and getting the Nexus unlocked from google. Now, I know that the Nexus's hardware is a bit behind the S3, what are some other differences in both phones? I'd like to hear it from people on here that actually used the phones and not some BS reviews on the net.
I am using asl-native library for taking screenshot. I tried it on two phones.
1. Samsung Galaxy Y, Gingerbread, unrooted
2. Nexus S, Jellybean 4.2, rooted
It is taking screenshot on Galaxy Y even through the phone is not rooted.
On Nexus S, rooted phone, it allows me to run chmod 0777. I am able to copy asl native and set the rights.
