Diagnosing HTTP Error 400 on a LAN IP

http://serverfault.com – I have been configuring a surveillance camera on our LAN. For days, everything was fine. Suddenly, any time I try to access it in a web browser via its IP, like http: // 192 . 168.1.123, I get an HTTP error 400. http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec10.html says error 400 means "Bad Request The request could not be understood by the server due to malformed syntax. The client SHOULD NOT repeat the request without modifications. " There is no syntax in a URL, so a message stating it is malformed makes no sense. Where do I start looking for the cause of this problem? I can't find a (HowTos)
