Is anyone else having a problem with the weather app not showing your correct current location? Instead of giving the placename, it just says 'current location'. I've checked all the settings and set my home location and the default to be shown as 'current location' but no banana! I've seen quite a few posts of people reporting the same issue without any workaround.
Hello, I have a strange problem that is probably something stupid but I can't seem to figure it out. I had a dedicated DNS/DHCP server but I consolidated that functionality into my file server, and then I took my former DHCP server offline. I added DNS/DHCP to my main server by copying the config files over (that's probably the problem). The server *seems* able to resolve DNS.
We are experiencing an issue with users not being mapped to their corresponding network drives during the login. I verified that the logon script is correct and it work if I run it manually so I suspect there is some kind of network issue. When I run gupdate I get an error that states that Group Policy failed because of lack network connectivity to the domain controller.
I have a problem with an automatic installation of Ubuntu server on a VM. The problem is that after installation and reboot the VM gets the IP which it gets from the DHCP instead of using the static IP which has been set in the preseed. I tried several methods and configs, but it keeps holding it's DHCP IP. Apparently it does not config the network in the preseed phase.
