Hi all,
With GNOME 3.0 now out, the release team got a revamp too!
A few people decided to retire: Karsten Bräckelmann, Frédéric Crozat,
Lucas Rocha and I (that's Vincent Untz, in case anybody needs help ;-)).
We all enjoyed our time on the release team, and we're very proud of
GNOME 3.0!
But don't be sad because this also means new people are joining the
release team!
Hi all,
Today is a happy day, isn't it? Can you feel it!? Can you feel it!? Of course,
it's the day you all receive this nice call for tarballs! Awesome! Ok, I don't
feel very creative today. It's hard to beat Mr. Untz in the
Tarballs-Due-reminder
area... :-)
Tarballs are due on 2009-08-10 before 23:59 UTC for the GNOME 2.27.90
beta release, which will be delivered on Wednesday.
Hi all,
While translators and the documentation team are busy pushing fixes
until the very last minute, a lot of coders are enjoying some quiet
days. Ah, the hard code freeze is a good excuse to procrastinate. Sure,
not everybody manages to procrastinate successfully: some people are
still working hard on fixing those last major bugs that are annoying.
Aren't they crazy?
Hello all,
My laptop finally broke down but the new one is so fast I could
actually release GNOME 2.27.91 in five minutes; but then it would miss
the shiny new releases that you carefully planned for Monday, so I'll
refrain and follow the agreed schedule...
* TARBALLS *
Tarballs are due on 2009-08-24 before 23:59 UTC for the GNOME 2.27.91
beta release, which will be delivered on Wednesday.
Hello all,
Whoohoooh!! Nice and sunny weather, time to thank that you have
air-conditioning and create some tarballs[1] for us.
GNOME 2.28.0 Beta 1 (2.27.90) Released!
=======================================
This is the sixth development release, and the first beta, towards our
2.28 release that will happen in September 2009. By now most things are
in place, and your mission is easy: Go download it. Go compile it. Go
test it.
Hi,
Oopsie. Looks like the magic reminder mail that was supposed to be sent
to the release team wasn't sent :-) But we noticed it, and more
surprisingly, we noticed it before Monday! Yep: release team people are
really incredible, aren't they? Actually, this was not a question; it's
simply the universal truth. You can't reject it. You all love the
release team members. Don't deny this.
hi everyone;
the last piece of the migration puzzle finally fell into place; we now have new mailing lists for Clutter, hosted at:
