The release-team mailing list is intended for private discussions
between release-team members. It should not be interesting as anything
that is important, we'll either announce or bring to an appropriate
mailing list.
The release-team was not open for subscribing for 2 reasons:
1. We want to discuss things amongst ourselves, not immediately already
have replies from non-release team members
2.
Hi,
Oopsie. Looks like the magic reminder mail that was supposed to be sent
to the release team wasn't sent :-) But we noticed it, and more
surprisingly, we noticed it before Monday! Yep: release team people are
really incredible, aren't they? Actually, this was not a question; it's
simply the universal truth. You can't reject it. You all love the
release team members. Don't deny this.
Hi all,
While translators and the documentation team are busy pushing fixes
until the very last minute, a lot of coders are enjoying some quiet
days. Ah, the hard code freeze is a good excuse to procrastinate. Sure,
not everybody manages to procrastinate successfully: some people are
still working hard on fixing those last major bugs that are annoying.
Aren't they crazy?
Hello all,
It's the last step, it's the release candidate, it's 3.5.92 time!
So, what are you waiting for? Download it! Build it!
GNOME 3.0 Release Candidate (2.91.92)
=====================================
3.0 is now around the corner, and this release candidate has it all
already, everyone has been working really hard those last days to make
it wonderful. Thanks!
So, what are you waiting for? Download it! Build it! Test it!
Hello all,
This is 3.1.91, and it's out!
For the release of GNOME 3.0 we've released live USB and CD images based
on Fedora and openSUSE. These can be downloaded at
http://gnome3.org/tryit.html. I'd like one or more volunteers to make
such images available for the various development and final release of
GNOME 3.2.
GNOME 2.31.3 Development Release
================================
Finally! Here's what were eagerly waiting in the last few days! The GNOME
2.31.3 release! It took a longer to do it due to an epic battle between the
release team mob, GTK+, and Evolution (with some participation from
gnome-settings-daemon and libgnomekbd).
Hello all,
We all want to enjoy GNOME 2.29.91 next week, so the release team will
be waiting for your tarballs!
Tarballs are due on 2010-02-22 before 23:59 UTC for the GNOME
2.29.91 beta release, which will be delivered on Wednesday. Modules
which were proposed for inclusion should try to follow the unstable
schedule so everyone can test them.
