Desire S s-off by default?

http://androidforums.com – Hi I've got a Desire S with hboot version 2.00.2002 that I'm planning on rooting. The confusing thing is it's already s-off with *** LOCKED *** highlighted in pink at the top but I thought HTC phones were s-on by default. Do I just skip using revolutionary and flash 4ext then root or do I need to do anything else? (General)

I got a problem, that I can't root my Desire again, and I don't know why.

My Desire was once rooted, but I unrooted after installing the original RUU 2.2. version of android, After that, I installed 2,3,3 version, but I can't boot it. It shows me some black screen on boot. I updated to HBOOT 1.0.3.003 with the official ruu upgrades.

Hi I've searched around for an answer but cant find one as of yet. I've got a Desire (obviously) GSM currently running OxyZM 2.1 with Thalamus Kernel (i think, it says 2.6.35.14_r3 thalamus). However i wanted to try out a different ROM. Now the problem is whatever ROM I install I always get a bootloop. Mostly its the HTC screen but on the AOKP ROM its the AOKP unicorn screen.

Hboot 0.92.00001 S-on Clockworkmod recovery 5 (partly working) Root

My room have totally messed up and are bugging 24/7 so I wanted to flash some roms but all roms requires like 4ext and to get that I need to partition my sd card in someway, don't know how.

My stable, always go back to rom is dGB with 65Mb hboot. But when going to any other rom I always have to flash a new hboot and then flash it back when reverting to dGB.

Hi guys I kinda stuck here. I tried to Unlock and flash my HTC Desire HD but I think something went really wrong. Here's my actual status: I unlocked my Bootloader using HTCDev to flash the 4EXT Recovery After unlocking in I tried the Ace Advanced Hack Kit (also with a re-locked Bootloader as suggested on the webpage) but it never worked for some reasons all the PD98IMG.zip seem not to be app

I have a HTC Desire, and it was successfully rooted. I did have some problems, but they were solved by helpful people here on the forums.

Hello! I want to upgrade to the new hboot and radio. CUrrently got the 6.98.0000 S-OFF by Revolutionary and want to put the reengineered 2.00.0002 - 7.00.0002. Im wondering which radio should I use in case of not getting it bricked and if someone can give me links for the new radio and hboot I will be thankfull.

P.S. I want to flash them via fastboot flash [hboot] [recovery]
