Kobo announced today via its company blog that the Kobo Glo and Kobo Mini e-readers are now on sale at Canadian retailers Indigo, Future Shop and Best Buy, and in the U.K. at WHSmith. The $80 Mini and $130 Glo were announced in September, just ahead of the unveiling of Amazon’s new Kindle lineup.
I jumped into this e-reader world when I saw that Moon+ Reader had text to speech. There are some books that don't have audio versions that I really would love to hear while I drive, mow, dishes, etc. So I loaded it on my Droid. Anyway, I bought my first e-book through my local independent bookstore. Unfortunately, it was through Kobo books. I thought I saw Kobo in the notes for Moon+.
I'm using the Kobo app on my smartphone, and enjoying it immensely. I have one problem though - when I purchase a book through the Kobo website, it doesn't automatically download to my phone, even when I refresh the app. Am I doing something wrong, or there is something I should be doing?
