I have installed Ubuntu 12.04 on my new Dell Vostro 3550 and noticed persistent windows and cursor blinking. When going to console (ctrl+alt+f1) and using 'cat' I see persistent generation of this symbols: '^@'.

After upgrading from 10.04 to 12-04 my touchpad in a Dell Vostro 1510 has become totally dead. Anyone knows what can I do to restore its functionality? TIA

Hi Where can I download all Dell Vostro 3500 Drivers. The dell website's download manager doesn't work, and I'm finding downloading one by one pretty painful.

hi, I am trying to install fedora core 13 (live) on a dell vostro 3500 laptop with the intell i5 processor. The boot process starts and then simply gets stuck after a while. Initially i thought that there might be some problem with either the image or the disk, and have ended up trying 4 different images (32 bit, 64 bit, kde version, gnome version) all with the same result.
