Hi!I've got a Dell Inspiron 1525 with "Dell Computer Corp. Wireless 355 Bluetooth". I'm using Blueman. The problem: when I turn off the bluetooth device in blueman, the bluetooth led in the laptop don't turn off.
Ok, I've been out for some time, and now I'm back, and with new problems.
I just installed 12.04 as Wubi in a Dell inspiron 1525, with W7, and, as usual, I have no wireless connection. How do I get the wireless to start working?
Besides that, how can I get rid of Unity, and go to the traditional mode?
I am a brand new user to Ubuntu (all of my previous experience being in Windows). I have recently begun to dual boot for the sake of work, so I installed Ubuntu 12.04 on my Dell Inspiron 1525. It possesses a Broadcom BCM4312 Wireless card. I have no troubles getting an ethernet connection to work, but my wireless is acting odd, to say the least.
i've just installed opensuse 11.2,on my dell inspiron 1525.
net by cable is working o.k.,but i can't detect any wireless connection.
how can we set wireless on the laptop?
help would be usefull...
Install Fedora 12 on my laptop and having problem connecting to access point using WEP . I complied with wireless setup with key but will not connect. Works with security disable, the router is a Westell 327W from what was Bellsouth. Thanks in advance for your help with this problem.
I upgraded from Ubuntu 13.04 to 13.10 and now do not have any wireless internet. I have tried the solutions to similar problems but none have worked. When I look at additional drivers nothing shows up. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?
